Chuck checking in

Hey just found a computer and am checking in from my trip out west. Here is a quick overview I will have some pictures after I get home. Landed in Phoenix last Saturday and the temp was 118 degrees. From there we headed to the Grand Canyon and yes it is as awesome as people say. Next stop Zion National Park temp 105 done a couple good hikes tried not to wear myself out early in the trip. Bryce Canyon was next and once again temps around 103. It is just a neat as the others with each park being so different. Drove through Capital Reef and once again WOW. Arches was next and it was just to hot to hike much another day of 105 and I am feeling the engery running out. Stayed in Moab and its everything and more. If you can't find anything to do there then something is wrong. Have made it to Salt Lake City went to the olympic training area for bobsledders and ski jumppers and got to see some freestyle skiers jumping into the pool. The Great Salt Lake is quite different to say the least with so much salt all over the place it looks like it snowed. Oh by the way its 101 degrees today. As fun as it has been I am looking forward to getting home flying out tomorrow. Chuck
